We are South African expats living in Germany since 2010. In April 2018 we received the sad tiding of death in the family; my sister and my husband’s father a couple of days apart, and we suddenly had to make arrangements to go back home for the funerals. Unfortunately, the kids had to stay, and because we have no relatives in Germany, this could potentially have been a real problem. But we didn’t hesitate for a second to approach the Noldes for help, seeing as we knew that Klaus and Annatjie always had an open door policy, and leaving our loved ones in their care would be the best option. The kids loved the week they spent with them, finding themselves in a safe environment and even being spoilt with trips to the movies and the zoo!. So we could fly home with true peace of mind, knowing that they were with their German grandparents. We feel truly blessed to know you guys.
