Carol-Anne

have had the blessed privilege to spend my December of 2017 in Germany for the 1st time ever. Little did I know that I would have 1 of my best holidays ever thus far.

I was welcomed into the home of Klaus and Annatjie Nolde where their “open house” amazed me from the moment I stepped foot into their warm and loving home. It was no surprise to me that I left there not only spiritually enriched but also emotionally and my heart was warmed more with every day that passed.

I was welcomed with open arms and hearts and immediately felt that their home was my home. From the little posted notes that was left all over my room with welcome messages and where to pack my things, to the Chocolates and small little blessings left on my bed. One I remember clearly was…  make yourself at home… Jesus also lives here!

The laughs and sharing of stories until morning hours accompanied with delicious nibbles and snacks and having time in the morning reading together from the word of God and praying together left warm and lasting memories that I will cherish forever… Of course, the midnight snacking was hard to get rid of once I returned home… They stuck to my belly and bottom like the memories stuck to my heart! Haha!

Going to church together, visiting friends, meeting refugees and taking them some treats on Christmas morning was only a few things I got to share with them in my time spent.

They went out of their way to take me shopping and buy a few of my favorite foods I like to eat.  They took time off to take me sight-seeing and make my stay as enjoyable as possible. In all this time and activities, I could see how much they love people and sharing Jesus and His love for us was shining through them. I felt at peace and overall so loved. They have a heart and love for all people… Those who love the Lord…. And those who haven’t had the privilege to meet Him yet… They just love all people with His love!!

I know with my whole heart that anyone who will have the opportunity to visit their home will experience this love Christ puts into their hearts and will be welcomed with open arms. They would have no choice but to leave feeling blessed and loved because the love of Christ shines through them and straight into the hearts of people around them.

God has blessed their home and therefore I felt tremendously blessed!

I thank you and I pray that God will lead you and guide you and that your home will be blessed, and every person that sets foot into your home will leave as blessed and enriched as I was! Thank you for the big and small spoils… Thank you for the time you spent to make my stay enjoyable and so memorable! Thank you for the sharing and the caring and the prayers and laughs and all the shopping trips. Thank you for the extra kilos… It means I was well fed! Bless them Abba Father and their home in Jesus name!

Love you
