I first met the Nolde family in 2010, when they hosted my band (Days Divide) as we were touring and playing concerts in Germany. From the start, I knew they would become great friends as I witnessed their ability to listen, to give advice and to share their love for the Lord with us and others.
I visited and stayed with them again in 2012, also with the band. They were always such gracious hosts, helping to provide us travel plans and guidance and also making contact with other Germans all over the country who were able to help us and host us.
I have continued a friendship with Klaus and Annatjie since then, and in September 2015, I was blessed to travel to Germany again, this time with my wife. We stayed with the Noldes for an entire week and enjoyed such a memorable time. Our last trip, in September 2016, was also very memorable as the Noldes hosted us along with our 5-week-old daughter.
Klaus and Annatjie have been a blessing to us through the years, providing spiritual and life guidance and always making us laugh. We have always appreciated Annatjie’s ability to speak bold and direct truth to us and Klaus’ servant heart, always going out of his way to make sure that we are comfortable and have everything that we need. Most of all, their desire to follow God’s will for their lives is always evident and always an encouragement to us.
