BAD KREUZNACH
For the past 20 years, our home has been a revolving door! Some have passed
through for dinner, others stayed a night, while some lived with us for almost a year. Whether young or old, they have enriched our lives.
Several times, we hosted a music band of five young men for several days / weeks. As they did not have a “manager”, we stepped in to set up dates, concerts and to “fix” their cancelled flight before the concert- requiring flexibility and patience on our part.
Another time, we hosted a talented band from South Africa (Joshua na die Reën and Lizandra-von-Hagen). Our dining room became the rehearsal place – the songs resonating throughout the house. Then, a Language and Drama Team filled every empty space with the challenge of only two showers to accommodate them. Many a time, we are helping these visitors sort out lost luggage, visa issues and language troubles. Never a dull moment!
We thank all who have shared their “journey” with us with many laughs, tears, talks, challenges, prayers and meals.
